Social Data Research Rally

Join us at the Graduate School of Business's Social Data Research Rally on October 17th. The Social Data Research Rally is a half-day conference and networking with a focus on Stanford staff working with research data.  Attendees are professionals well versed in the art of working with data, building and leveraging infrastructure both at Stanford and in the cloud.   Guests are expected to have some experience in programming, data wrangling, distributed processing, high-performance computing, cloud computing or data engineering, particularly with large data sets in the context of Stanford’s organizational constraints. This conference aims to facilitate sharing practical skills with other research professionals in the thick of data challenges, rather than to serve as a forum to educate or motivate the curious.     12:30 p.m - 1 p.m - Registration 1 p.m - 2:30 p.m - Welcome and Sessions 2:30 p.m - 4 p.m. - Networking Reception   Attendees will are encouraged to share work/projects, exchange ideas, and get help in an open, collaborative environment.   Interested?
